He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Earlene Hensley; his parents, Troy Hensley and Mariah Hensley; and his brother T. F. Hensley. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Burnette (Brad) and Kari Akin (Daniel); his granddaughters, Athena Burnette and Sylvie Akin; and his sisters, Dorothy Lauderdale, Betty Maples (Richard), Diana William (David) and Helen Cutshaw (Eugene). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
