We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2023 we had to say goodbye to David Allen Byrd Sr. of Strawberry Plains, Tennessee. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Roy, Betty Lee Byrd (Lane), Clay Byrd and Pauline Collett; and his aunt Nita Brown.
He is survived by: his sons, David Allen Byrd, Jr. and Abel Byrd; his stepchildren, Emmalee Dick, Karyssa Steele and Evan Dick; his parents, David Byrd and Sandra Swearingen; his stepfather George Swearingen; his brother Travis Byrd; his stepbrothers, Jerry and George Swearingen; his nephew Ethan Byrd; his fiancé Shandra Dick; his uncle Joseph Berrier; his grandfather Alvin Brown; and his close friend Caden McInally. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the David A. Byrd, Sr. Memorial Fund to assist with funeral expenses, made to Farrar Funeral Home, PO Box 1025, Dandridge, TN 37725.
