She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Bates and Sybil Bates; her son Greg Stair; her siblings, Jim Bates, Judy Bates Hayes and Barbara Witt; her mother-in-law Lula Swaggerty; her brothers-in-law, Ronnie Witt, Kenneth Cox and George Clark; and also Albert Bates.
She is survived by: her husband Steve Swaggerty; her daughter Sheri Stallings (Rodney); her grandchildren, Megan Watkins (Coty), Camille Stair and Cody Stair (Destini); her brother Bob Bates (June); and her siblings-in-law, David C. Hayes and Ginger Bates. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
