He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben I. Lee Sr. and Georgia Pike Lee; his sister Mary Katherine; his brother-in-law George Wiles; his brother Ben I Lee, Jr.; his sister-in-law Bonnie Lee; and his brothers, George R. and Ralph E. Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Anne Lowery Lee; his children, Doug Lee, Dusty Lee (Karyn) and Dana Rupert (Chris); his brother Gary Lee (Norma); and his sisters-in-law, Louise Lee, Betty Troutt Lee, Bebe Faye Day (David) and Barbara Kaye Wyrick (David). He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
