With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Beverly Ann Smith of Strawberry Plains, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Beverly Ann left this world on December 4, 2024 at the age of 74, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Bailey and Edna Bailey; her brothers, Ron Bailey and Dwight Bailey; her brother-in-law Doug Smith; and her nephew Matthew Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Dan Smith; her children, Daniel Smith of Knoxville, TN, Melissa Sun (Patrick) of Brentwood, TN and Laura Bessent (Kevin) of Beaufort, SC; her grandchildren, Oliver Sun, Isabelle Sun and Kai Bessent; her siblings-in-law, Carole Bailey and Ed Smith; and her nieces, Rhonda Young (Tim) and Kelley Miller (Tim). She is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Washington Pike United Methodist Church (2241 Washington Pike, Knoxville, TN 37917). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
