He is survived by: his grandchildren, Damean C. Massey (Stephanie), Danielle K. Massey and Nicklas E. Sheppard; his siblings, Clyde Sheppard (Jewell) and Mary Edna Foster; and his siblings-in-law, Glenda Sheppard and Ray Brooks. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
