With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alma Ellison Sams of Strawberry Plains, Tennessee, who passed away on May 15, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Herbert Sams; her daughter Serila Camille Sams; her parents, Noah Ellison and Della Ellison; her siblings, Stanley Ellison, J. D. Ellison (Jean), Pat Ellison, Claude Ellison, Junior Ellison, Tip Ellison, Lacy Ellison, Ruland Ellison, Jewel Dunn, Edna McFalls and Gracie Ellison; and her brother-in-law Lewis Ellison.
She is survived by: her daughter Danise Blazer (James Greenlee) of Morristown; her sister Norma Owens of New Market; her grandson Corey Blazer (Flora Briggs) of Talbott; her great grandchildren, Ayden Blazer and Isaiah Blazer; her stepgranddaughter Layla Amburn; her sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Ellison and Ozell Ellison; and also Jean Batson of Parrottsville.
