She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Connors and Bessie Witmer Connors. She is survived by: her husband George J. Schaffer; and her brother Charles Connors.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Children Hospital or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
