He was predeceased by: his parent Charles Counts. He is survived by: his parent Della Vernatter Counts; his wife Shirleen Dee Fielder Counts; his children, Carl Raphael Counts, David Bryon Counts, Rhonda Lea Flowers, Carlitta Rae Sorrells and Alisha Kae Westerman; and his sister Lois Jean Counts. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
