She was predeceased by: her father James Hicks; her son Jimmy Edward Crowe; and her siblings, James Norman Hicks and Debra Hicks. She is survived by: her mother Essie Moore Smith; her husband Joe Mathis of Stantonville, TN; her children, Patricia Thompson (Bobby) of Selmer, TN, Lisa Edmonds (Raymond) of Hornsby, TN and Ricky Crow of Stantonville, TN; and her siblings, Debra Cox (Wayne) of Bethel Springs, TN, Linda Jarret (Teddy), Terrie Jo, Kathy Hadley, Carolyn Hicks, Lisa Hicks, Barbara Hicks and James Smith. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
