She was predeceased by: her husband James Elmo Elam; and her siblings, Troy O'Neal White and Dorothy Louise Fondren (Mack). She is survived by: her children, Judy Diana Elam and James Danny Elam (Debbie); her granddaughter April Elam-Dierks (David); her great grandchildren, Hallie-Kate Dierks and Elam Dierks; her nephews, Nickey Fondren (Cindy) and Michael Fondren; her cousin Naomi Gray; and also Sandra Gray. She is also survived by family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Adamsville Elementary School, Adamsville High School, or Corinth Theatre Arts, where she spent much time enjoying the activities of her great-grandchildren, or to a charity of choice.
