He is survived by: his wife Amanda Harwell-Springfield; his children, Joseph Springfield, Jr., Kentral Springfield, Jarvis Springfield, Todd Springfield, Shelia Watkins, Pheneice Williams, Monica Springfield, Felicia Jeter and Marquita Pugh; and his siblings, Lawrence Ervin Springfield, Larie Springfield, Shirley Williamson, Christine Bell, Annette Taylor and Beverly McFarland. He is also survived by 51 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
