He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Watson and Sarah Elizabeth Elrod Watson; and his siblings, Clifton Watson, Bill Watson, Christine Evans and Nellie Sue Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Qualls Watson of Stanton, TN; his children, Jonathan Watson of Jackson, TN, Jamie Rutkowski (Carl) of Ripley, TN and Elizabeth Pace (Stephen) of Whiteville, TN; his brother Wayne Watson (Sharon) of Stanton, TN.; and his grandchildren, Michael Pace, Martin Pace, Matthew Pace, Mia Pace, Carl Edmund Rutkowski and Ryland Watson.
