She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas Carter and Willie Walters Carter; and her brothers, W. T. Carter and Roy Carter. She is survived by: her children, Laurie Sweeney (Harry Baker) of Mt. Juliet and Nathan Baker (Regina) of Springville; her sister Nelda Faye Turner of Springville; her sister-in-law Joanne Carter of Vandyke; and her grandchildren, Tyler Sweeney (Jessica Witherspoon), Hannah Clayton (C. J.), Alex White (Tanner), Gracie Sweeney (Tyler Hicks), Natalie Parish and Abigail Baker.
