He was predeceased by: his parents, Prather "Jack" James and Mary Sue James (Treece); his wife Betty James (Townsend); his granddaughter Lindsey James; and his sister Marti James Owens.
He is survived by: his sons, Joey James (Tammy) of Springville and Jamie James (Ashley) of Paris; his brother Don James (Lana) of Mason; his grandchildren, Armie James of Denver, Parker James of Paris, Macie James of Paris and Reed James of Paris; and his great grandchild Wilson Powers of Springville.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home (1200 S Miles Ave, Union City, TN 38261). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
