He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Burnett Sanders and Callie Bea Francisco Sanders; his daughter Mary Beth Sanders; and his brother Ronnie Sanders. He is survived by: his children, Donna Troutt (Gary) of Camden, TN, Debbie Walker (Jay) of Paris, Phyllis Sanders of Springville, TN and Lynn Sanders (Craig Wilson) of Paris; his siblings, Nadine Hatley of Beechmont, KY, Josephine Funderburk of Dennis, MS and Cotton Sanders (Betty) of Paris; and his grandchildren, Andy Troutt (Casi), Travis Troutt (Kimberly), Matthew Hastings (Emily), Emily Walker, Jessie Wright (Justin), Molly Patel and Sarah Cole. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
