He was predeceased by: his parents, Brooks Oliver and Martha Rucker Oliver; his son Mike Oliver; his daughter-in-law Connie Oliver; and his brother Joseph Allen Oliver.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Choate Oliver; his son Randy Oliver of Springville, TN; his siblings, Judy Suiter (Dennis) of Martin, TN, Jim Oliver (Kathy) of Hendersonville, TN and Jerry Oliver (Anita) of South Fulton, TN; and his grandchildren, Patrick Oliver, Wayne Oliver and Amanda Oliver. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
