He was predeceased by: his parents, Felin Johnson and Vassie Melton Johnson; his spouse Jean Leary Johnson; his sons, Nicky Johnson and Michael Johnson; and his siblings, Rachael Johnson, Arlene Dowdy, Flowing, Willie, Paul and R. C. Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Susie Parker (Steve) of Springville, Ricky Johnson of Buchanan and Rocky Johnson (Kathy) of Union City; and his grandchildren, Hunter Johnson (Jessica), Crystal Reeves (Perry), Bobby Johnson (Missy), Cannon Johnson (Kristen), Amy Knott, Traci Allen, Ashlyn Brooke Johnson, Joey "Nick" Johnson (Corrie), Allison Langley (Clay), Angie Mosley and Jason Parker (Anna). He is also survived by twenty-two great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
