He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Louis Carpenter and Martha Coleman Carpenter; his daughter Brenda Kay Williams; and his sisters, Frankie, Maggie Lou and Margaret.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Joyce Jarrett Carpenter; his children, Pamela J. Doering of Springville, Sheril Ann Luckett of Nebo, Kentucky and Robert Louis Carpenter of Springville; his grandchildren, Melissa Luckett, Braxton Luckett, Michael Ray Williams (Amy), Bryan Williams (Tanya), Nicholas Doering, Hannah Doering (Alan Jake Wilson) and Lucas Doering; his great grandchildren, Madison, Bailey and Jackson Williams; his grandchild Finas Clyde Wilson; and his brother Tommy Carpenter (Mary Ann). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McEvoy Funeral Home, Inc. (507 W Washington St, Paris, TN 38242). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
