He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Lassiter and Annie Wilson Lassiter Hobbs; and his brother Charles Lassiter. He is survived by: his children, Travis Lassiter (Shonell), Kimberly Blevins (Danny) and Amanda Goff-Butler (Roger); his grandchildren, Jackson Lassiter, Eli Lassiter and Shelby Blevins; his great grandchild Ivy Waffird; his siblings, Wendell Lassiter (Irene), Carl Lassiter, Lois Ann Clark, Drucilla "Chigger" Duffer (Stan) and Vanessa Tompkins (Mark); and his sister-in-law Joyce Lassiter.
