She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley and Sarah Pauline Watts Strange, Sr.; her husband F. E. Head; her son-in-law Randy Shepard; and her siblings, John W. Strange Jr., Paul H. Strange, Charles E. Strange, Gordon C. Strange and Mona Sue Belt.
She is survived by: her children, Phillip "Wayne" Head (Emma) of Columbia, TN, Glenn Marshall Head of Pleasant View, TN and Emily "Leann" Shepard of Stroudsville, TN; her brother Ronald H. Strange (Denise); her sister-in-law Joann Strange; her grandchildren, Phillip W. Head II (Stacey), Jason R. Shepard, Teena N. Carson (Mark) and Kimberly D. Pennington (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Michaela A. Head, Brooklyn P. Walker, Joseph Emmitt Shepard, Kacie Pennington and Kyle Pennington.
