He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Bell and Dollie Lee Stark; his wife Rachel Gregory Stark; and his siblings, Charles Stark and Virginia Lee Nichols Elrod.
He is survived by: his children, Roy G. Stark, Jr. of Springfield, Gregory Kempf Stark (Cindy) of Charlotte, Tennessee and Dawn Stephens (Mike) of Clarksville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Mike Stark of White Bluff, Robert Stark (Amber) of White House, Wayne Moorefield (Angela) of Clarksville and Emily Stark O'Connell (Matt) of Yorktown, Virginia; and his stepgrandson Michael Stephens (Ashley) of Scotts, Michigan. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family request that donations be made to Comfort Care Hospice or the Wounded Warrior Project. All donations may be sent care of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home.
