He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Sue Farmer Dodd. He is survived by: his children, Denise Dodd Fletcher (Larry) of Springfield, Mike Dodd (Jan) of Vestavia Hills, AL and Jeff Dodd (Luis) of St. Augustine, FL; his grandchildren, Jamie Ayres (Heather) and Libby Kelly; and his great grandchildren, Gabe Kelly and Kasey Ayres.
