We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2021, at the age of 76, Robert Allen Shannon Jr. of Springfield, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Robert A. "Bobby" Shannon, Sr. of Brentwood, Tennessee.. He is survived by: his wife Diane Shannon of Goodlettsville, Tennessee; his mother Jeanne Traughber of Springfield, Tennessee; his children, Robert A. "Allen" Shannon, III (Rena) of Hermitage, Tennessee and Jennifer L. Shannon of Franklin, Kentucky; his brother Charles M. Shannon (Susan) of Springfield, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Caitlin Shannon, Alison Cribb, Rebecca Shannon and Philip Shannon; and his great grandchild Annabelle Jackson.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
