Nona Mae Lee Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nona Mae Lee of Springfield, Tennessee, who passed away on March 24, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Noel Highsmith, Sr. and Nona B. Fyke Highsmith; her husband Robert Earl Lee; her grandchildren, Brett Morton, Jada Beth Rice, Jana Lee Rice and Cassandra Renee Morton; and her siblings, Jake Highsmith, Noel, Eunice Minnis and Omelia Highsmith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Morton (Steve), Connie Rice and Sheena Roach (Tim); and her sister Ophelia Bethke. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home (509 N Walnut St, Springfield, TN 37172). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
