He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Davis and Florence Pontious Davis; his wife Christine Crabtree Davis; his son Ronald R. Davis; and his siblings, Evelyn Davis Stephenson and Cecil Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Richard C. Davis (Donna) and Glenda Davis Head; his daughter-in-law Gayle Davis; and his nephew Joe Stephenson. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and man nieces and nephews.
