He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Coggin and Mary Biles Coggin; his daughter June Coggin Griffith; and his sisters, Kate Lindsey, Lucille Brown and Jean Holland.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Quates Coggin; his children, Joyce Dallas (Jerry), Lanny R. Coggin, Jr., Guy Coggin (Kathy), Carol Coggin, David Coggin (Shelly) and Tracey Coggin; his son-in-law Bruce Griffith; his grandchildren, Tommy Johnson (Michelle), Amber Coggin, Max Coggin, Ryleigh Coggin and Ross Coggin; and his great grandchild Brady Demonbreun. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces.
