With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine Minnis Johnson (Springfield, Tennessee), who passed away on December 24, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oley Minnis and Fannie Goff Minnis; her husband Edd Hawkins Johnson; her brothers, David Minnis and Dorris Minnis; and her son-in-law William Richard "Ricky" Head.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Diane Johnson and Kathy Jean Head; her sisters, Lou Frances Sneed and Janette Hittle; her grandsons, Jonathan Ray Head (Twyla), Joseph Robert Head (Kathleen) and James Richard Head (Andrea); and her great grandchildren, Kassaundra Owens (James), Justin Head, Skyler Head, Will Head and Amelia Head.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Barren Plains Baptist Church.
