She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert L. Jones and Dorothy Ogg Jones of Virginia; her husband Jimmy Slate; her brother Bobby Lee Jones; and her siblings-in-law, Donna Jones and Joe Hallman.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeremy Slate (Rhonda) of Greenbrier and Joe Slate (Kathy) of Springfield; her siblings, Charles W. Jones (Brenda) of Springfield and Emily Sue Hallman of Adairville, KY; her niece Kandy Foriest of Greenbrier; her grandchildren, James Slate (MacKenna), Aaron Slate (Savannah), Nicole Mixon (James) and Ethan Slate; and her great grandchildren, McKinley Slate, Mattie Slate and Walker Slate.
