He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bracey and Lula Mae Bracey; his former wife Edna Mae Bracey; his wife Iva Mae Bracey; and his brothers, Donald "Bud" Bracey and Kermit Bracey.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Bracey (Catherine), Tersea Bledsoe and Larry Bracey (Belinda); his grandson John Bledsoe; his stepchildren, Carol Long, David Hunter (Pon) and Larry Hunter (Jennifer); and his siblings, Dorothy Biggers, Verner Bracey (Mary), Maxine Searle (Gary) and Laverne Raymer.
