It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Powell of Springfield, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on July 19, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Powell and Ruth Hudgens Powell; his sister Jenny Powell Jacobus; and his grandparents, Annie Lou, James Powell, Mary and Milton Hudgens.
He is survived by: his sister Melody; his brothers-in-law, Steve Haley of Springfield and Marty Jacobus (Barbara) of Palm Springs, CA; his nephews, Jason Jacobus (Susan), Seth Jacobus (Amber), Tyler Jacobus (Missi), Cole Jacobus and Lucas Haley (Alexa); his niece Logan Haley; and his aunts, Joan Powell, Hilda Best (Richard) and T. S.. He is also survived by 5 great-nieces and 2 great-nephews.
