He is survived by: his children, Michael Dwayne Ayres (Rebekah) of Springfield, Jennifer Ayres Lamb (David) of Pleasant View and Misty Ayres Miranda (Endersone) of Franklin, Tennessee; his brother Ricky Ayres (Rosanna) of Springfield; and his grandchildren, Lexi, Daphne, Victor of James Burr and Chloe.
