It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Thomas Axley of Springfield, Tennessee, who passed away on February 26, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Axley and Mamie Axley (James); his brother Ernie Axley; and his nephew Brent West. He is survived by: his daughter Jessica Axley; the mother of his child Bettye Ann Axley (Cobb); his siblings, Colleen West (Axley), Wanda McClard (Axley), Carol Axley, Venita Axley, Tina Kelly (Axley), Phyllis Axley, Dennis Axley and Tony Axley; his niece Michelle Axley; and his nephews, Brian West, Keith McClard, Ernie Axley, Jr., Jeremy Axley and John Kelly.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Michael's Catholic Church or Our Lady of Lourdes.
