He was predeceased by: his brothers, Milton Barrow, Billy Barrow and Ricky Barrow. He is survived by: his son Bobby Thaxton of Springfield; his siblings, Eddie Barrow of Springfield, Rita Roe and Karen Barrow; his grandchild Kallie Jolin Bagwell; and his great grandchild Zaden Lee Carson Groves.

“I knew Roe way back in 1974. He played basketball behind our home in the Springfield projects. He had one shot from the side line that he spent all that hot summer teaching me. He was a really cool guy. I have wonderful memories of that summer and him. So sorry it took so long to hear of his passing. RIP Roe. See you again someday.”
