It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Everett Katherine Yates (Springfield, Tennessee), born in Southside, Tennessee, who passed away on January 14, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Thomas Yates; her son Everette Thomas Yates; and her sisters, Ruth Chambliss, Grace Dorris, Elizabeth Folsom and Claudia Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, John Paul Yates (Ruth) of Unionville, TN and Karen Shoemaker (Shane) of Springfield; her sister Johnnie Barnes of Shelbyville; her grandchildren, Adam Yates (Mariah), Anna Yates, Olivia Shoemaker and Grace Shoemaker; and her great grandchildren, Eli Hodges and Silas Yates.
