It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lee Lyon of Springfield, Tennessee, born in Sturgis, Kentucky, who passed away on July 29, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Darnell Lyon and Emma Lee Lyon; and his sisters, Barbara O'Connor and Patti Browning. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Lyon; his children, Dawne Montgomery (Perry) of Murphysboro, IL, Sarah Ellsworth (Tim) of Jackson, TN and Joshua Lyon (April) of Pleasant View, TN; his grandchildren, Devan Baril (Amber), Megan Baril, Madison Baril, Daniel Ellsworth, Emmalee Ellsworth, Noah Ellsworth, Makayla Lyon, Drew Lyon and Hannah Lyon; his great grandchild Greyson Wilson; and his siblings, William "Bill" Lyon (Donna), Thomas "Tommy" Lyon (Margaret) and Virginia "Gina" Treuthardt (Jim).
