He was predeceased by: his parents, Haskell Otis and Mattie Elizabeth Bagsby Davenport; and his siblings, Gloria Spicer and Haskell O. Davenport, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Clara Drake Davenport; and his son Billy Eugene Davenport. He is also survived by three step-sons; three step-daughters; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
