With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Lou Matthews of Springfield, Tennessee, born in Westmoreland, Tennessee, who passed away on March 9, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Frances Webb and Bessie Perdue Webb; and her husband James Matthews. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Taylor (Danny), Dottie Parr, Darryl Matthews (Charlotte), Dwayne Matthews (Jedonne) and Kevin Matthews (Tracey). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
