He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Morris and Cecil Johnson Morris; his daughters, Beverly Jane Morris and Tammy Annette Morris; his siblings, James Wayne Morris and Faye Hall; and his children-in-law, Tonya Morris and Paul Roark.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Sammie Reid Morris; his children, Melinda Roark, Timothy "Bubba" Morris, Susan (Delvin Hester) and Dennis (Jill Morris); and his sisters, Johnnie Hand and Abbigail (Billy Jackson). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
