He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Norman Walton and Idabelle Sheets Walton; and his brother Terry Walton. He is survived by: his wife Judy Gay Whitmer Walton; his sons, Charles Allen Walton (Nancy) of Chester, VA and James Thomas Walton (Schaundra) of Spring Hill, TN; his grandchildren, Daniel Walton (Melissa), Zachary Walton (Avalon), Sara Walton, Abigail Walton, Benjamin Walton, Margaret Walton, Faia Richards (Jacob), Jocelyn Knight (Dylan), Hayden Walton and Donovan Walton; his great grandchildren, Meredith Walton and Nathan Richards; his niece Dacia Markum; his nephew Michael Walton; and his cousins, Katherine Walton and Zenda Sheets.
