He is survived by: his wife Eileen Broyles Sherrill; his daughters, Alyssa (Brent Maddox) and Bethany (Chris Mason); his brother George W.; his sister-in-law Carole Sherrill; and his grandchildren, Madeline Mason, Grady Mason, Evelyn Maddox and Charlotte "Lottie" Maddox.
