He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Davis Beal and Ottie Knighten Beal; his daughter Arlyn Maria Beal; and his brother Kenneth Beal. He is survived by: his wife Karyl Chastain Beal; his son Ronald Patrick Beal (Monet); and his brothers, Curtis Beal (Sue) and Earl Beal (Kathy).

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network. Donations may be made online or by check.
