He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend William Eugene Gober and Norma Fleming Gober-Hayes; and his stepfather Lewis Hayes. He is survived by: his spouse Laurie Greer Gober; his sisters, Miriam Gober Thompson (Mike) of Ringgold, GA and Melanie Gober Grand (Paul) of Nashville, TN; and his pet Fergie. He is also survived by numerous brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, and nephews.
