He is survived by: his father Jimmy Joe Gillespie (Sarah) of Shelbyville, TN; his close friend Cynthia "Doodle" Ford of Spring Hill, TN; his siblings, Tammy Heiden (Michael) of Chapel Hill, TN and Joey Gillespie (Kelly) of Chapel Hill, TN; his close friend Dale Oechsel (Tracie) of College Grove, TN; and his nieces and nephews, Andrea Baker, Kyle Griffy, Kendall Gillespie, Kennedy Gillespie, Kayla Gillespie, Katie Piersol (Shane) and Betsy Iszler (Andy).
