She was predeceased by: her husband Emory Poteete (Junior); her son Mike Poteete; and her granddaughter Mary Lovell Poteete. She is survived by: her children, Tony Poteete, Ricky Poteete (Gail) and Pam Alexander (Roy); her brother Glen Brown (Sandra); her grandchildren, Jenie Serrano, Stefani Neal, Emily Pleasants, Amanda Gilliland and Timmy Poteete; her stepgrandchildren, Chelsea Thomason and Sarah Aldridge; and her close friend Herbert Roberson. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren.
