He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Stephens and Shirley Pratt Stephens; his former wife Josephine Stephens; his son Mark Stephens; and his siblings, Carolyn Ruth, Cornelia Neal, James "Corky" Stephens and Gene Stephens.
He is survived by: his wife Geneva Locke Stephens; his daughters, Melody Nichols (Tim) and Genia Stephens; his grandchildren, Amanda Graef, Brittany Conner and Dustin Nichols; his great grandchildren, Christian Thompson, Braylon McClure, Gracie Conner, Eli Graef, Josie Graef and Asher Nichols; and his siblings-in-law, Lois Stephens and Roy Ruth. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made to Mt. Carmel Cemetery in care of Peggy Fisher.
