She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Penney and Marian Whitesides Brailsford; and her brother John Mark Brailsford. She is survived by: her husband Tom Allen; her children, Amy Egnew, Jennifer Lamoreaux (Andy), Brian T. Allen (Amy Beth), Beth Anglum (Andrew) and Scott D. Allen (Tasha); and her sisters, Kay Card and Mary Streuling.
