With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Louise Vargo (Spring Hill, Tennessee), born in Dearborn, Michigan, who passed away on December 16, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Brooks and Alice Davies Brooks. She is survived by: her husband Richard A. Vargo; her son Christopher Arthur Newton (Kathleen); and her siblings, Gordon Brooks (Anita), Kenneth Brooks (Christine), John Brooks (Nancy), Paul Brooks (Madeline) and Claudia McBath (George).

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Karen may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure of Breast Cancer, 4009 Hillsboro Pike, Suite 209, Nashville, TN 37215.
