He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Sappington and Muriel Sappington; his wife Lucretia Caldwell Sappington; his child Kelly Leigh Dees (Greg); his grandchildren, Sawyer and Lila of Red Banks, MS; his son John Dean; his granddaughter Katie of Franklin, TN; his daughter Sarah Adams (David); his grandchildren, Fletcher and Beckett of Fairview, TN; his child Courtney Stewart (Lane); his grandchildren, Woods, Della and Sloan of Franklin, TN; and his siblings, Jim Sappington (Carol) of Kingston Springs, TN and Cindia Bivins (Stanley) of Lewisburg, TN..
