He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Morgan and Mary Ardetto Morgan; and his granddaughter Rachael Celia. He is survived by: his children, Johnie Buchanan (Michael) of North Carolina, Michael Morgan of California, Andrea Goodwin of Alabama, Micah Morgan of Spring Hill, Casey Crosby (Brandon) of Alabama and Justin Riddle (Danielle) of Columbia; his siblings, David Morgan (Julie), Debbie Stouder (Rod), Janice Sladek (Ed) and Maryann Vincent (Ken); his grandchildren, Jeremy, Kearstin, Neeley, Evan, Jax, Wyatt, Tate, Olivia, Henry and Caroline; and his great grandchild Lexi. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
